Esports is a major trend that is attracting day after day players in « traditional » sports. Last example to date with Roland-Garros which will launch a competition on a tennis video game.
Next April, the « Roland-Garros e-series by BNP Paribas » tournaments will take place on the Tennis World Tour game or rather on a demo version with only Roland-Garros since the game will be released at the end of May.
The various tournaments will take place in April in 8 countries: China, India, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Italy and Germany. The winners from each country will compete in a grand final at Roland-Garros on Friday, May 25, 2018.
For this esports Roland-Garros tournament, BNP Paribas has therefore decided to become a strong partner by becoming the title sponsor of the competition.
