The publisher of online games bets on the great visibility of BGS, especially its tenth edition, to introduce Black Desert Online, a MMORPG developed by Pearl Abyss, to the South American market; RedFox Games’ booth will have a free-to-play area with 70 game stations available to the public

São Paulo, May 11ᵗʰ, 2017 – Throughout its history, Brasil Game Show has been a showcase for more than a thousand companies. Known worldwide or newcomers to the market, they always find at BGS the best stage for presenting their releases, selling their products, relating to fans and attracting new users among a loyal, excited and interested audience that grows each year. It was this environment, where everything revolves around games, that has attracted RedFox Games. To make its debut in Brazil, the North American publisher of online games will sponsor the tenth edition of BGS and receive its public in a booth with 500 sqm and 70 game stations. RedFox Games also chose BGS to show Black Desert Online (BDO), a MMORPG developed by Pearl Abyss which places their players in the middle of a conflict between two rival nations, the Republic of Calpheon and the Kingdom of Valencia.

“This is the first time that RedFox Games participates in an event at Brazil and we chose BGS for its national and international representation. We know the event has received over 300,000 people in the last editions and it will be a great thermometer for the South American market and for the possibilities in the region”, said Byong Hwan Kang, country manager of RedFox. “We are quite optimistic and eager to be part of this gaming culture celebration and show off our products, like the BDO.”

Black Desert Online (BDO) is an open-world action MMORPG with great graphics built from its own engine. Developed by Pearl Abyss, BDO is set in a fantasy scenario and has a moving and combat system which gives players full control of their characters, both during battles and in the game map exploration.

In addition to RedFox Games, BGS has already confirmed the presence of Razer, Cogumelo Corp, Copag, GAMEscola, Games X, Geek 42, IPS (International Processing Solution), FlipFlop Lab, Lady Snake Rock Wear, Rixty, Pro Simuladores, Square12, Streamsoft, The Suns Store, Void Studios, World of Collectibles and XFire Gamers and until the beginning of the event will reveal at least one new attraction per day. The tenth edition of Brasil Game Show promises to be the biggest and the best one of the largest game show in Latin America, already has 42% more tickets sold than the same period in 2016 and will have about 250 brands. Two international attractions have already been announced: Nolan Bushnell, creator of Atari 2600, and Hector Sanchez, who was a producer of Mortal Kombat and Injustice series. By October, eight other names will be revealed.

About Brasil Game Show – held for the first time in 2009 in Rio de Janeiro as Rio Game Show, BGS is getting ready for its tenth edition. In 2017, the biggest game show in Latin America and the world’s second largest event in used area in the gaming industry will be held on October 11-15 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
