Applications Open For The London Games Festival Fringe 2018
- An exciting and diverse array of events will support and complement the London Games Festival this April
- Independent games companies, meet-up organisers, brands and media owners are invited to a huge celebration of games in the capital city
- From Games London, a ground-breaking project to support, grow and promote the games and interactive entertainment sector backed by the Mayor of London
Applications are open for the London Games Festival Fringe, running as part of the London Games Festival this year (5 – 15 April).
The Festival Fringe is dedicated to independently run events of all sizes, and last year ranged from conferences and talks to live immersive games and competitive tournaments. Events in different or unique spaces, or in parts of the city that otherwise don’t usually see much event activity, are especially welcome.
Now in its third year, London Games Festival features ten days of business and cultural activity across the capital. Last year the Festival attracted over 50,000 visitors to over 40 events.
The London Games Festival and the Fringe is organised by Games London, a partnership between the capital’s screen industries agency Film London and games trade body Ukie, supported by the Mayor of London’s London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP).
