We were formed back in 1999 by 8 talented flight and military simulation developers with a massive passion for racing.
After 5 outstanding World Rally Championship games on PlayStation2 and the creation of MotorStorm for the launch of PlayStation3 we became a part of Sony Computer Entertainment in 2007.
What we do is pretty simple: we make visually and aurally breathtaking racing games in realistic environments with deep, satisfying handling and physics, and we love it.
We were one of the first studios in the world to use Agile methodologies and SCRUM to keep massive projects under control.
The team gets Product Owner and Development Manager training regularly to give the team greater control and responsibility over their parts of the game.
We have never viewed anything as the best way of working so we continually review how we work to keep on improving.
We maintain a fun, independent feel to our studio culture and enjoy solid relationships with our Sony Worldwide Studios peers, such as Guerrilla Games, London Studio and of course Studio Liverpool. We also have an excellent and on-going track record of working with Sony Computer Entertainment hardware and software teams to exploit and refine platform features.
