Activision Publishing, Inc. is an American video game publisher. It was founded on October  1979 and was the world’s first independent developer and distributor of video games for gaming consoles.

The company publishes titles such as the Quake series, Call of Duty and Destiny.

Activision operates in more than 15 countries including in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Australia, Singapore, mainland China, Hong Kong and the region of Taiwan.
