Fnatic is the latest major esports brand to raise capital to expand its franchise.
The esports giants have raised $7m in financing, with investors including the Raptor Group, the owners of the Italian football club, AS Roma and NBA team, Boston Celtics.

Raptor Group have now strengthened their interest in the space with their investment in Fnatic, further fortifying the relationship between the two parties.
The Boston Celtics are also set to enter esports as part of the eLeague NBA 2K tournament, having promised fans that an “eCeltics” team is just around the corner.
