Eight more competitors qualify for the FIFA Ultimate Team Championship in Berlin next month.

Eight more competitors are in! That’s 24 total with 8 more left to punch their tickets to the FIFA Ultimate Team Championship in Berlin next month. This past weekend, elite FIFA players from the Rest of World and Americas regions faced each other in back to back UTC Season 2 Regional Finals in beautiful Whistler, Canada.

In the Rest of World finals, Aldossary “MSdossary7” Mossad from Saudi Arabia steamrolled the competition in the Xbox One division on his way to lifting the Regional title. “MSdossary7”, the third player from Saudi Arabia to advance to the Championship, triumphed over Japanese player Shun “fifantomCR” Okabe, who was crowned the PlayStation 4 champion, in the interdivision finals. Both took home a $20,000 prize and secured their seats in Berlin.

In the Americas region, seasoned FIFA competitor Giuseppe “xGUASTELLAx” Guastella dominated the knockout stage all the way to conquering the Xbox One Division and eventually, the Regional Champion title. Christopher “NYC_Chris” Holly, who recently signed with MLS club New York City FC won the PlayStation 4 divisional finals, making an impressive comeback from the lower bracket. Also joining “xGUASTELLAx” and “NYC_Chris” in Berlin from the Americas region, will be Niall “JoGa Cesc” Archbold, and Jose Carbajal Garcia in the Xbox One Division and Reinhard “rein10” Krause, and Gunbir “manbir2472” Gill in the PlayStation division.

The final stop for Season 2 will be in Madrid on May 6, where the best players from Europe will go head to head for the last shot at playing in the Championship. The series will culminate in the FIFA Ultimate Team Championship in Berlin on May 20 & 21, where the best of the best will fight for their share of the $400,000 prize and ultimate bragging rights.
