RTX is a three-day gaming and internet convention that will take place in Austin, Texas. It is hosted by Rooster Teeth Productions and run by Gus Sorola and Barbara Dunkelman of Rooster Teeth.

Starting as a small community gathering of 400 people in 2011, RTX significantly expanded in its following years. RTX has gained attention for its “celebration of that convergence of gaming and internet culture.”

The event includes panels on gaming and internet topics, exhibitor booths from independent and major game developers, as well as meet and greets with game developers, Rooster Teeth employees and internet personalities. RTX is also notable for being one of the first places consumers may play major video game releases.

This year, Screw Attack is bringing the SGC gaming party to RTX. What can attendees expect from SGC at RTX? Freeplay gaming, huge arcades and some of the most fun and ridiculous programming ever put on an event stage. Once SGC begins, it doesn’t stop. It’ll be 24/7 from the second RTX opens until RTX is over.
